P!nk Ft. Nate Ruess =D
                                                        "Just Give Me A Reason"

Right from the start
You were a thief
You stole my heart
And I your willing victim
I let you see the parts of me
That weren't all that pretty
And with every touch you fixed them

Now you've been talking in your sleep, oh, oh
Things you never say to me, oh, oh
Tell me that you've had enough
Of our love, our love

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
We're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

I'm sorry I don't understand
Where all of this is coming from
I thought that we were fine
(Oh, we had everything)
Your head is running wild again
My dear we still have everythin'
And it's all in your mind
(Yeah, but this is happenin')

You've been havin' real bad dreams, oh, oh
Used to lie so close to me, oh, oh
There's nothing more than empty sheets
Between our love, our love
Oh, our love, our love

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
I never stopped
You're still written in the scars on my heart
You're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Our tear ducts can rust
I'll fix it for us
We're collecting dust
But our love's enough
You're holding it in
You're pouring a drink
No nothing is as bad as it seems
We'll come clean

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
That we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Oh, we can learn to love again
Oh, we can learn to love again
Oh, oh, that we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

Liam Hemsworth (born 13 January 1990)[1] is an Australian actor. He took the role of Josh Taylor in the soap opera Neighbours and as "Marcus" on the children's television series The Elephant Princess. In 2010, he starred in the American film The Last Song and in 2012, he starred as Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games. Hemsworth's elder brothers, Luke and Chris, are also actors and provided a path for Hemsworth to emulate.[2]

Contents

Early life

Hemsworth was born in Melbourne, Australia. He is the son of Leonie, an English teacher, and Craig Hemsworth, a social-services counselor.[3][4] He has two older brothers, Chris and Luke Hemsworth, who also work as actors.[2] Hemsworth has said that though there is competition for jobs among them, it is friendly: "We are brothers and we are always competitive, but it is a good thing, it pushes us and we are always happy whenever someone books something."[5]
When Hemsworth was in year 8, he and his family relocated to Phillip Island,[6] a small island. Hemsworth says he spent much of his time there surfing with his brothers.[7] In March 2009, Hemsworth moved to the United States to pursue his career there.[8] He and his brother Chris first stayed in the guest house of Chris's agent William Ward[9] before renting their own Los Angeles apartment in which they currently reside.[5]

Career

Prior to becoming an actor, Hemsworth laid floors for six months.[5] He began to seriously consider following his elder brothers' footsteps and become an actor in high school, when he took on an agent.[7] He attended his first audition at the age of sixteen[10] and began his career in 2007 with guest spots on the shows Home and Away and McLeod's Daughters.[11] The week of 8 July 2007, Hemsworth began filming episodes for Neighbours, an Australian soap opera his brother Luke had previously starred in.[12] Hemsworth's character, Josh Taylor, was a recurring character from 2007 to 2008. In the show, Josh was an athletic paraplegic who supported and began a relationship with character Bridget Parker after she was paralyzed down one side of her body in a car crash.[13] In 2008, Hemsworth began acting on the children's television show The Elephant Princess, playing "Marcus", the attractive lead guitarist of the protagonist's band.[11][14] Hemsworth later had roles in the television series Satisfaction and starred in the British film Triangle.[11] He also made a brief appearance as an MIT student in the film Knowing.[15]
In 2009, Hemsworth was selected to act opposite Sylvester Stallone in Stallone's 2010 film, The Expendables, but his character was written out of the script (Hemsworth later co-starred in The Expendables 2).[2] Hemsworth's brother, Chris, told Movieline that just a few hours after Hemsworth learned he would not appear in The Expendables, director Kenneth Branagh called to ask him to test for the lead role in the 2011 film Thor.[2] Hemsworth moved to the States in March 2009 for screen tests.[8] Though he eventually lost the part to Chris in May,[9] Disney announced later the same week that Hemsworth had landed the part of Will Blakelee in the 2010 drama The Last Song, based on the Nicholas Sparks novel by the same name. Hemsworth plays the love interest of Miley Cyrus's character in the film.[16] Nikki Finke reported that Hemsworth had been in Los Angeles for just three weeks and had not yet found an agent when he was cast.[9] Hemsworth next appeared in the music video for Cyrus' "When I Look at You"[17] which was recorded on 16 August 2009.[18]
In September 2009, Hemsworth appeared at a dinner event to promote Foxtel, an Australian pay television company.[19] In March 2010, Details magazine selected Hemsworth as one of their predictions for "The Next Generation of Hollywood's Leading Men".[15] Later that month, it was announced that Hemsworth was in negotiations to star in Arabian Nights, a 3D action film that will be directed by Chuck Russell for Inferno Entertainment.[20] It was later confirmed that he will be starring in the movie.[21] He has also reportedly been offered the lead role in "Northern Lights" after "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner withdrew from the David Ellison-financed project.[21]
Hemsworth was the Nickelodeon Australian Kids' Choice Awards 2010 host.[21] He and Miley Cyrus won the "Fave Kiss" category.[21]
Hemsworth stars in the music video Colder Weather for the Zac Brown Band.[22]
On 4 April 2011, Lionsgate announced Hemsworth to be one of the leads, Gale Hawthorne, in The Hunger Games, which was released in 2012.[23] In June 2011, he became attached to war drama Love and Honor which also stars Aimee Teegarden and Teresa Palmer.[24]
In 2013, Hemsworth will appear in Empire State with Emma Roberts, Paranoia co-starring Harrison Ford and Timeless as a widower who travels back in time. He will reprise his role as Gale Hawthorne in the sequel to The Hunger Games called The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, set to be released in November 2013.
He is set to play Ali Baba in Arabian Nights co-starring Anthony Hopkins and Dwayne Johnson in 2014.

Personal life

While filming The Last Song in June 2009, Hemsworth began dating his co-star Miley Cyrus.[25] In August 2010, it was confirmed that his relationship with Cyrus had ended.[26][27] Cyrus and Hemsworth were seen together a month later, and had reportedly reconciled.[28] It was announced in early November that the couple had split again,[29] but reconciled their relationship a second time.[30] In June 2012, the couple announced their engagement.[31]

Philanthropy

Hemsworth is the ambassador of the Australian Childhood Foundation. Hemsworth talked about his association with the foundation, "I have the best parents you can have. They have worked in child protection for twenty years and have only ever given me encouragement and support. The world is a scary enough place as it is for children. It is important that home should always be a safe place for them." When asked if he believed he was a hero to children, Liam modestly responded, "I don't know if I'm a hero to children, but I'd like to be. I'd like to be a good role model."[32]

His mother, Michelle, is a former Delta Air Lines employee who now assists Josh, and his father, Chris Hutcherson, is an analyst for the EPA.[2] He has a younger brother, Connor, as well as many pets, including two dogs, Diesel and Nixon (a boxer).[3] He has wanted to be an actor since he was four years old,[4] but had only begun auditioning for roles in 2002, at the age of 9.[5] He moved from Union to California due to limited acting opportunities.[6]

Career

Hutcherson's first role was in the 2002 pilot episode, House Blend; in the same year, he appeared in an episode of ER. In 2003, he played the lead role in the comedy Miracle Dogs (released on Animal Planet); starred opposite Peter Falk and Timothy Daly in the made-for-television film, Wilder Days; and had a minor role in the well-reviewed independent film, American Splendor. He performed for the motion-capture imagery in 2004's The Polar Express.
In 2005, Hutcherson appeared in several Hollywood films: he had a minor role in the Will Ferrell comedy Kicking & Screaming, voiced Markl in the animated film Howl's Moving Castle (June), and played the lead roles in Little Manhattan (September) and Zathura, which was released in November to positive reviews. The following year, Hutcherson appeared in the comedy RV, playing the son of Robin Williams' character. Hutcherson subsequently played Jesse Aarons in the drama Bridge to Terabithia, which was filmed in New Zealand[7] and released on February 16, 2007, performing well critically and commercially. He had not read the novel that the film is based on before being cast in the role.[7][8]
Hutcherson's next role was in Firehouse Dog (released on April 4, 2007), in which he played Shane Fahey, a firefighter's son who befriends a dog.[9] Hutcherson filmed Firehouse Dog before Bridge to Terabithia, though the latter film was released first.[10] He next appeared in the independent drama Winged Creatures[11] and the science fiction adventure Journey to the Center of the Earth,[7] a new 3D version of the novel of the same name. Filming on Journey, which was released on July 11, 2008, began in Montreal in June 2006 and ended in October of that year.[7][9] Hutcherson also appeared in a film adaptation of the book Cirque Du Freak.

In 2010, he had a supporting role in the critically acclaimed movie The Kids Are All Right, playing Laser. Hutcherson has said that he would like to appear in every type of film genre.[9] On April 4, 2011, Lionsgate announced that Hutcherson had been cast as Peeta Mellark in the 2012 film, The Hunger Games.[12]

Personal life

Hutcherson briefly dated his Journey 2 co-star Vanessa Hudgens but the two are now "good friends".[13]
Hutcherson has cited actor Jake Gyllenhaal as an inspiration.[8]
On August 11, 2007, Hutcherson served as the Grand Marshal at the Meijer Indy 300 at Kentucky Speedway.[14] In September 2008, he traveled to Italy for the first time. He visited Rome and Milan, and participated in a local event for children interested in moviemaking.[15] Hutcherson recorded a video for the "Straight But Not Narrow" campaign, designed to encourage young, straight men to come out in support of their gay peers.[16] On April 21, 2012, Josh received the Vanguard Award from GLAAD, awarded to those in the entertainment industry who make a significant difference in promoting equal rights for LGBT people.[17] "My mom has always been a big advocate, especially in the gay, lesbian, transsexual and bisexual community so for me it's always been a part of my soul," Hutcherson stated in April of 2012. In the same article, he stated the profound effect of the "Straight But Not Narrow" campaign. Recalling a letter from a boy in Florida, "He was in this very right wing and religious sort of area and he sent a letter saying how SBNN changed his life and how he was able to feel more comfortable coming out to his friends," Hutcherson said. "I was almost bawling reading it. That makes all our work worth it."[18]
Being from Northern Kentucky, Hutcherson has been a lifelong fan of both the University of Kentucky's Wildcats and nearby Cincinnati, Ohio's Major League Baseball team, the Reds. As a guest on Conan, Hutcherson talked about painting his face to show his support during Kentucky Wildcats basketball games and being a season ticket holder.[19] On April 7, 2012, Hutcherson threw the ceremonial opening pitch before the Reds' game against the Miami Marlins at Great American Ball Park.[20]
